This was a sweater from Old Navy that I don’t think I ever wore until i cut it up. It was too large, and had a big blue stripe accross the middle. I cut out the stripe, got rid of the sleeves, cut off the neckline and hem, and reshaped the cut to provide a more form fitting . . . um . . . fit :-) I finished the edges by serging them in a contrasting yellow, and because the material was stretchy, it made for a cute ruffled egde. The cowl for the neck used to be one of the sleeves. No pattern used here, just a lot of ‘cut-apart-and-slapped-back-together’ work, haha.

I also really love this! You’ve got a knack for slapping it back together, alright. Much better than the original. So cute.

I love making these projects too. It’s always fun to see what you end up with, eh?
