I used a bigger person’s long linen skirt to make a short skirt. The sash is fabric left over from a failed attempt at PJ’s. My assemble is wrinkled from sitting on my butt all day. It looks better ironed.

Eh, the wrinkles add character. ;-) I like the color a lot, and the contrast between the linen and the shinier fabric is nice.

I like your skirt. And everyone knows linen creases, right?

My PJ’s – I had my “sophistocated” brother-in-law visiting from Germany. I wanted to walk around the house in something decent. I improvised a pattern. The bottoms were 3 x too big, the top too small. I looked like an upside down mushroom, and it wasn’t comfortable. I salvaged a sash.
It’s not cut on bias. The bottom just flows out.

cute! wrinkled linen is perfectly excusable- or so i tell myself when i wear my linen skirts :) i like the gentle flair at the hem— did you cut on the bias? also, what went wrong with your PJs? looks like great fabric for sleepwear.
