Burda Style For people who sew
Description
When I made my first jacket from recycled leather, I drafted three patterns. For this one, I decided to use black wool, along with the leather from the old coat. I have to say, however, that it’s a difficult combination if you want your seams to behave and be flat… Jacket is fully lined.

I really love this with the corporate skirt, its so edgy. And the contrasting fabrics work a treat – a lot of contrasts with leather end up looking a little tacky but this garment definitely doesnt have that problem :) good job! what was the thickness of the leather you used?
