I had a light blue dress that had some stains on it and it wasn’t wearable. So I decided to recycle it and to make an apron out of the fabric. I used the Layla pattern but since I didn’t have enough fabric I had to tweak the pattern slightly – I cut the upper part separately and made it smaller than on the original pattern. I also used some scraps that were lying around for the flowers on the big pocket to liven up the light color of the apron.
