Description

This top was initially a modest 80s style blouse. You can see it in its initial state on the bottom picture. I found the blouse from an op shop and instantly fell in love with the material. I reinvented it by taking sleeves off, by changing neckline (took the collar off), by taking the top in from sides and by altering the pleats that run down from shoulder line. It is definitely looking “younger” and more wearable now.

great refashion. using the pleats from the original design works so beautifully and the ruffled sleeve edge is gorgeous

How clever are you! I should try op shops for clothes to alter or fabric.
