Description
This is a sweater jacket I made from a reconstructed sweater and some wool scraps. Loved the original sweater, but it was huge. I cut it up the side, cut off the bottom and added wool trim, buttons and buttonholes. Voila, a yummy new sweater with a huge, warm collar!

I LOVE THIS. What a Fabulous-oh creation. I have seen many sweater remakes on here and I have always been scared to do one as I could never figure out how to deal with the edges. This is FANTASTIC. I love the rusty orange thread with the brown border. Using a fabric as a border. Now why didn’t I think about that! ; – ) Really smart looking.

Love the over-sized collar and the button closure. Great job with recycling the sweater. You gave me an idea for making something similar (but out of woven fabric).

this is great, i need to find an old sweater to do this to! great job! i dont have one with a huge collar, but maybe cutting off from the bottom (if its long) and adding it on the collar would work….
