Here’s an awesome top reconstructed from a vintage (circa 1980s-1990s) SUPER LARGE sweatshirt.

No pattern used.
I’ve cut off the neckline and cut open the front of the shirt.
I also removed the ginormous sleeves on this one and altered the side seams to that the upper portion is very loose, yet the lower portion (upper to natural waist) skims close to the body.
