Description

I’ve had this skirt for at least 10 years and I love the fruit fabric. It got a bit tight in the waist over the years, developed a small hole at the bottom of the zipper and I wanted to shorten it. I cut off the top, reinserted the invisible zipper and had to take in the sides a bit. Made narrow rolled hem. Overall am pleased with the result.

Great idea. Now you have a new skirt.

Nice length and good fit. It’s fun to bring an old favourite back to life – I did something similar recently with a dated 90’s skirt and now it has a new lease of life (and I have a new skirt!)
