Great Yarmouth, ...
After winning against Portugal, a dress for the next match was obligatory !!
First I needed to decide on what material to use and in the end got lucky finding a german flag in a local sports shop. Now I needed a pattern and this is where Burdastyle.com came to my aid. Having seen some lovely versions of this pattern by user Mary Athey (thanks a lot for the inspiration) I knew that would work perfectly for my dress.
It was actually a lot easier to make than I thought, and so my “football dress” was ready just in time to kick butt against Holland :-))
Now I have to make another one, showing the English flag, or else I won’t be allowed in the pub on Friday :-))
german flag, some cheap black material (that is actually what it said on the label in the shop), a zip and some interfacing
