San Jose, Califo...
I love the fabric, but since it was found at the thrift store, there wasn’t much supply. I made the most basic skirt ever, and added a tiny pocket, big enough to hold my cellphone. I took that apart and added a white layer underneath and added a black band, plus a zipper. So now I have myself a high-waisted skirt. Then, I took that apart because I needed to add more length, which was to the black band. Frustrated with the zipper, I re-done everything and just used elastic. I can now wear it either on my hips or around my waist. I LOVE ELASTIC; with that, you can’t go wrong, haha! Completed: 1/23/10
