Description

A modern (well, from about 10 years back) blouse in a girls’ size that no longer fit me became a 1953 crop top. I used a Vogue #7975 (year 1953) as my guide to re-cutting the blouse. The new blouse’s shoulders were from what had been the bust line of the old blouse, and the sleeves saved and re-set in. A new collar, curved with notches and pin tucking, was also added. I was trying to channel Audrey Hepburn in my styling. To see and read more please visit my blog https://seamracer.wordpress.com/2016/01/18/an-audreys-style-1953-gingham-blouse-re-fashion/

A very clever upcycle-love the collar!
