Description

Butterick 5559, made up in a mustard yellow cotton knit. The tucks sewn into this dress look like rays of sunshine. It brightens any gloomy day.

    I have this pattern, but have been afraid to make it. Did you use a serger?

      I did use a serger to finish the side seams, but only after I sewed the seams with a regular sewing machine (so that I could match up the pleats more carefully). You definitely do not need a serger for this pattern though!
