I bought the fabric from a discount fabric shop for $1 a metre and have had the Esther pattern in mind for it for a while. Last weekend I whipped it up in a total of about a day’s work tracing included. I like the result. Not perfect, but it is a success, I’ve worn it 3 times already this week.
I think the sleeves could be a bit narrower and cuffs a bit longer, and I would like it to wrap around a bit further. The side pieces seem to have a little extra space, so I would probably try straightening out the curve a little. I had a little bit of trouble with the lengths of the collar/edge pieces, probably due to the very floppy, stretchy nature of the fabric.

It’s very nice. I probably wouldn’t have even looked at that pattern but yours looks great and having seen this I can imagine wearing it too. Great job :-).
