Typically for a British summer, the weather is really miserable and rainy (and as I like to call it ‘minging’). So instead of sunbathing as you would expect to do in the summer holidays, I made this pincushion while watching the rain drops depressingly drip down my bedroom window. I normally steer well clear of hand sewing as it’s never been my stong point but I saw this tutorial (link at the bottom of description) and fell in love with it. Perfect way to use up some of my scrap fabric.
