This dress is made by the fabric and the color, if you ask me. The cuts are amazing and I will be rocking this blockish dress all summer. I did not add pockets, and I separated the back into two pieces.
HAVE COURAGE.
Rainbow died crepe de chine. Used hem tape for the neck piece and it was a breeze.

like it very much! I’ve made the short version , so it’s more of a top but I did had some problems with the neck band (beside sewing the back in the front in the beginning :) ). it turned out just fine, I think I’ll try it again with different fabrics and a smaller size.
So good job to you !

Hi,
I still need to start sewing my dress. What do you mean, have courage? I hope it does not mean the dress is very hard to sew? It is the second thing I will make without any lessons :-s… I really love your version, I hope mine works out great too, it will be a winter version to wear over trousers.

The dress is REALLY a breeze. The difficult thing about the dress are the oddly shaped shoulder pieces that fall over the chest.
