Last weekend was the Budapest Pride Parade. I wanted something to wear for it so I made this dress.
I hand painted the coloured stripes onto navy and white jersey. That was so much fun! I want to paint fabric all the time now. I completely lost track of time while I was doing that because it was so enjoyable!
I made up the pattern for the dress myself.

What a fun idea! And what a nice and proud dress! What did you use to paint it? Fabric-dye, or fabric printing ink?

Thanks! I used fabric paint. I thinned it down with water to make it easier to use (and go further)

Aha, great! I’ve got loads of that (and I’ve never used it)! Must try on something… :-)
