Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Hello!! I used Simplicity pattern no. 2693 to create this pretty rah rah dress which I wore to my birthday cocktail party back in March 09! It was quite tricky to do, particularly the bit around the middle surprisingly, but worth the results.
Material Notes
I used plain poly-cottons ( I think, or they may be just cotton- can’t remember!), and as you can see I used 3 different shades which worked well. There is boning in the bodice which is the first time I eve used it- think I used the wrong stuff though as it was digging in to my assets!
