For this CSM PDP project we had to make a Victorian costume, i watched the film From Hell and had research the Garibaldi shirt before so was inspired to make a prostitute costume. Visited the National Theatre Costume Hire Warehouse and OH MY GOD it was brilliant!!!! The costume consists of an Anglomania inspired shirt with contrasting puff ball sleeves, the pattern for the i traced from an old zip vest i have. The skirt was a complete and utter guessing game but it work BEAUTIFULLY and i am so proud! The under shirt is a pair of old lace leggings with a hole in the crotch, yay for recycling! The jacket was a edit i did (as we had to re-use old clothes for sustainability blah blah blah) i reserach military knots etc and added the front and shoulder panels, dirtied it up a tad too. Finally the under bust corset was a tad of a fail as its a little big, but that was a guess aswell :D
