This is McCall’s stitch’n save pattern 5012. I made this for mom. The material is jersey with pleats..so many tiny little pleats. Oh my, I don’t ever want to work with this material again. I did modify the design a bit. I added a twist neck cowl. I made this for my mom. Its a good top to wear for the cold & it looks good with jeans.
She likes it because of the drape & ease to wear. I think I’ll stick to regular stretch knits because this was hard to manipulate. This finish in the hem is done by hand. I could not get the flat stretch down when I tried it on the machine. Just too many pleats to work with.
Impossible pleated jersey, my seam ripper, & internal calmness.
