Description
I made this top last year and have worn it quite a few time already. I just never got around to taking a picture in it :)).
Anyway, here it is. It was a very easy pattern to make. I used a black ponte knit, which is a little too thick for this pattern. I think the pleating will look much better in a lighter weight tricot fabric. As you can see I also shortened the length of the sleeves, because they were way too long…. The long sleeves would have probably looked much better if the fabric wasn’t as bulky as mine was…. I will have to try it in a lighter weight to see how it will look.
I’m happy with my top, I hope you like it too!
Material Notes
1.5m black ponte knit

Thanks Allison! You should try it. Like I told Mary, it’s not difficult at all to make…

Haha, I know exactly what you mean Mary! My to do list has reached China by now, that’s how long it is! ;))
I have to say though that with this top, the work is in the tracing of the pattern… you can sew the top in under an hour…
