Here’s a basic description of how to sew a rag quilt here: http://quilting.about.com/od/ragquiltpatterns/ss/rag_quilt_basic.htm.
I made a rag quilt and a blanket (the blanket was made from stretch velvet I had lying around…a werid choice for a blanket but I think it came out OK).
I also covered two pillow forms and made some pillowcases that I’m showing you here. There’s a tutorial out there for the envelope pillowcases, here’s the link: http://www.ehow.com/how_4425862_make-envelope-pillow-case.html.
thanks for looking!
stretch velvet, two old sheets for batting, and satin binding for regular blanket
flannels and polyester batting for rag quilt
silk envelope pillowcases
cotton fabric on pillow forms
Sweet dresses, an outfit for a doll, and cute embellishments are fun for the holidays!
