This jacket started life with a cream lining and bad buttons, it was horrible, boring and far too military looking. Then I saw another project on here that a lady had done which inspired me to change the lining. Thank goodness I did too because I’m really pleased with how this jacket has finally turned out. I am now left with the cream lining so will probably knock up another jacket with a jazzy lining and maybe even use up those bad buttons (they’re not bad, just not good with the blue jacket). Anyway, I learned all about bound button holes with this jacket which took flipping ages but I really like the way they turned out so all is good.
Blue drill outer and a cotton inner.

I love this. I have been eyeing the pattern (of course it is from the ONE month I let my subscription lapse) and waiting for someone to make it to give us the deets. Any tricks other than fabric choices (noted, thank you!) and button hole technique? time consuming? is it reversible? It looks great on you!
