Radiant Orchid is the colour for 2014 which is a harmony of fuchsia, purple and pink. The shade of purple can intrigue the eye and spark the imagination.
So excited to have found a print in the hue that I absolutely love. It is a beautiful stretch velvet.
I let the fabric sell itself by making a simple sleeveless dress and then adding a pleated collar in the radiant colour to add more interest. The collar is really complementing the print and it is made from stretch satin.
I am so in love with it :-) I paired it with my cardigan from here: http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/cheerful-dress-paired-with-long-cardigan and I wear it to church yesterday.
