Cameron Park, Ca...
I used Vogue pattern (Rachel Comey) 1247, I loved the style with the slit pockets in the front, there difficult to see because of how they blend in. This skirt is the mini style, it would be much to short for me. I added 3 1/2 inches to the length (next time I’ll add at least 4 inches). I was only able to make a very small hem. I also had an issue with the waistband, it wasn’t long enough for the waist (not sure if this is a Vogue pattern error). I had to recut the waistband. Be sure to check the length if you use this pattern. Other then those issues the skirt fits well and the style is really cute. I can see making this skirt with contrasting fabric or doing a color block look. I’m tempted to make the top on this pattern as well.
