I made this dress from the lancey pattern, but used a ruffle around the neckline, piping around the armholes and gathered the skirt. I also adjusted the armholes so that they are racer-backed—much to my mother’s chagrin (because it highlights my tattoos!). It was made for our wedding reception out of one of the tablecloths from the wedding itself. I was pretty happy with how it turned out, though the linen on the bodice tends to stretch out after awhile.
