I made this duvet cover out of polyester lining type material. This was my first sewing project and a bit of challenge. Not because it was complicated, but because of the physical size of it and the fact that the material was so slippery and unstable. It was really difficult to keep everything square and even. (Also I had the needle in backwards the whole time and didn’t realize this was why my machine was acting so finicky). I’m sure you’re thinking “What, are you nuts? Why would you use material like that?”. And the answer is “Cat fur doesn’t stick to it!”
The racing stripe is there mainly to hide a mistake I made, but it looks good and makes the bed go faster.
