This is probably the most versatile piece of clothing you will ever see and now you can make your own!
It can be worn as a traditional gilet (picture 2) or you can flip it upside down and wear it as a cropped gilet (picture 1) plus you can also decide which color you want to wear as it’s reversible.
The whole piece lies flat so you can even use it as a cushion or blanket!
You can decide to quilt one side, both or neither and you can also customize the button fixing to your preferences.
Whatever way you choose to wear it you can guarantee that you will stand out in this!
While this is a simple 1 piece pattern the main work involves working with bias binding so please familiarize yourself with this technique before attempting this pattern. This pattern does not include the quilting pattern I have used in my version, if you want this please email me and I’ll be happy to email the motif to you.
