I found this pattern while surfing online from a tinyhappy tutorial. It was very easy to make, however I modified it by trimming off an inch on each side of the body to make it more square.I made a paper pattern and cut the bag out of an old comforter I was no longer using,so it was already quilted.I added some extra quilting seams to it to make it more sturdy.
The lining is cotton poly blend, burgandy in color to match the fabric on the bag. I also attached a quilted pocket to the lining for the inside of the bag.
The trim is from an old thrift shop shirt I didn’t like.I sewed it to front and back of the bag(before it was sewed together)
This was one of the easiest bag patterns I’ve ever used as it is all one piece, just sew the two together, add the lining and there’s your bag!I made 3 of these so far but like the quilted one the best.
I hope you enjoy my creation.
