I was asked to make another purse for a friend. She wanted a patchwork quilted bag. I used some fat quarters I have had for a while now and I think it turned out great! I also made a matching zipper pouch which I forgot to take a picture of. It measures about 16×14 so it should be large enough to carry anything she wants to. She also wanted a pocket on the side for her cell phone, first time to do this and it was easier than I thought it would be. I quilted it in the ditch.
Quilters cotton fat quarters, cotton lining, warm and natural cotton batting, D rings, 7" zipper, red button.

I tried to attach the technique and instruction for this bag when I posted it but for some reason it did not work. You can find it under the technique section named “Fiskars Unzipped” Shoulder Bag. This one is larger than the one in the instructions but that is the neat thing about this type of bag, you can make it any size you want! Happy Sewing everyone!
