I haven’t been able to do a lot of sewing these past months… so I finally had some time and I wanted something that would be quick and easy… I also wanted to try a petite pattern to see how it would fit and what adjustments I would have to make.
So here it is…. the fabric is from my stash. I’ve had it for some years now… It’s a stretch jersey/tricot. Because the fabric doesn’t fray I didn’t finish the seams. I just cut them with a rotary cutter to get nice and clean edges. I also made the skirt about 5 cm longer because its for petites and I’m not petite…
According to the patterns instructions there is a zipper, but because I used stretch fabric I left it out.
All in all I’m very happy with my quick sew project…. more to come!
