A friend needed a tutu to complete her Princess Halloween costume, so my best friend and I whipped this one together for her in just over an hour! It is super simple, just basted a 1/2" wide piece of elastic together on the ends so it would fit well at the waste, and cut all of the 6 yards of tulle into 3" strips. I made sure to use pinking shearers so the tulle wouldn’t fray and to kind of make it more interesting. We just picked what looked like a good length for the tutu and cut all of the long strips into strips twice that length. We went with 3 colors, white pink and turquoise. All that was left to do from there was fold each strip in half and slip knot them onto the elastic. Done!
