Hello, I made this as I’m sulking because my silk shirt isn’t going to plan! It’s a Kwik Sew pattern and it really was a quick sew. Chose the fabric on Friday and here we are! Its made from a pretend tweed, or wool/poly mix, really as a tester as the fabric was so cheap. But I love the jacket so it’s a keeper! The pattern isn’t for a lined jacket, but I lined it . I used some fabric I’ve had for ages and I love the contrast. Two vintage buttons from my tin . ( buttonholes slightly mismatched but I’m not worrying ) . I will make this again..,maybe a summer version.
Ok back to the silk shirt!
Don’t know why but the photos have appeared really dark??
Wool/ poly tweed fabric from FabricLand, approx £4.99 a metre. Lining fabric for the lining.
