Based on the pattern by mwelland
It was indeed very quick to draft and make. It’s nice to have a shirt in non-stretchy material that doesn’t need buttons. (I have an old-school sewing machine that doesn’t do zigzag, so button holes are always a chore.) Downside is that it has to be worn with a camisole, but that’s okay.
I made the front from one piece instead of two, toned down the embellishment in the front, and altered the shoulders a bit. (The latter was a case of “oops, I made a mistake, but now it’s actually even better!”)
Cotton, velvet trim around the V-neck
