This is a very quick ballet skirt that I drafted for my daughter. I used soft stretch fabrics which are comfortable for little girls, but this design can be used for any type of fabric. The pattern is to fit a girl aged 3-6 years, can be adjusted to fit older or younger aged child aswell.
preferably soft stretch knits, tulle and elastic

I have been stressing out all day trying to figure out how to make my daughter’s Halloween outfit. Sailor Moon is who she is determined to be, and sailor moon’s skirt is shaped at the top in a v like this, then pleated. I think I’ll skip the pleating, because I think this would work perfectly. I’ll be sure to post pictures when I’m done :-) thank you so much for sharing this pattern!
