This little two-piece project was made for a 6 month old baby, who lives on french Reunion Island, in the Indian Ocean.
I needed to find something easy to make, easy to wear, and light, for the warm weather of the island.
I took this pattern in the June issue of Burda Magazine, which has a good section of quick and easy, yet beautiful, toddlers garnments. (I also made the patterns # 143 and 145 and they’re very good projects to make (pictures to come)).
The shorts are from pattern #144 B.
The top is pattern # 141, with the sleeves and pocket from pattern # 143.
Blue fabric was from my stash, the turquoise one comes from “Petit Pan” : http://shop.petitpan.com/12-tissus
The lines of Greek architecture inspire this neutral and pastel collection.
