Description

I made this top and matching skirt out of python print satin using Burda 8497 and Vogue 7303, with a few minor variations. The top has long pointy cuffs sewn permanently closed with metal buttons and wraps closed with a side tie; the skirt is a very simple pattern, but has black satin side panels randomly sewn with pintucks and ironed flat, aiming for a scaley effect…

Material Notes

python print satin, black satin, 4 metal buttons, dark green lining fabric

Oh I just got some fabric like this too :) Your dress & top look great, good job lining up the pattern between the two items, I thought it was a one piece until I read your comments and looked closer :) I will make my fabric into a top too but I’m not sure what style yet :)
