Here’s a super simple purse I made from a skirt I found at the thift store. The pleats were already part of the skirt — I basically just cut out the shape I wanted, used fusible interface for sturdiness, sewed the side and bottom seams, used the extra fabric at the hem for shoulder straps and top strap (with snap closure added) and voila!
