Purse made from old skirt

Here’s a super simple purse I made from a skirt I found at the thift store. The pleats were already part of the skirt — I basically just cut out the shape I wanted, used fusible interface for sturdiness, sewed the side and bottom seams, used the extra fabric at the hem for shoulder straps and top strap (with snap closure added) and voila!

    Love the idea of recycling clothes for bags. Nice job. Both of them are really cute.
