  Love this dress and both of your versions. Because I loved just this dress from the first moment I saw it, I bought the relevant BWOF Magazin at Ebay some years ago. It is so very interesting to see it sewn by you! ;-) Your second version is really well done but in my opinion the brown coloured one suits you also very well.

    Yeah I like both dresses too, and I wear the old one with love. However, if one looks at the inside of the brown dress, numerous flaws can be found: seam allowances that are enormously wide, neckline facing that swirls and curves and gaps, and the collar that has some unwanted gathers and bulks caused by very bad fusible interfacing. It doesn’t show on the outside, but I know it’s there, and it annoys me (I’m a perfectionist!) :)
