Description

The pattern is Novita from Tamanegi Kobo (a Japanese pattern shop), a favorite pattern that I’ve used to make this top and dress. The pattern is cut on bias, resulted in a soft and flowy top. I omitted the sleeves this time. As I’ve made the pattern twice before, it came up rather quickly. It is such a nice feeling to finally make something again!

This is very similar to a tank I’d like to make soon, did you just finish the neckline by making bias tape?

The neckline is finished using wide bias strips, but they don’t enclose the edge of neckline like usual bias binding. Only about 1 cm from the edge is enclosed in the bias binding. I hope I make sense! :)
