I don’t know why I didn’t think of making a Liz out of this shirt sooner! Turns out its just the thing! Its SUCH a simple shirt to put together….IF you can understand the impossible directions for the collar. After reading them through, I realized that there are parts missing, so I had to ad-lib it. For anyone who needs help with it, the part that is missing is stitching the collar pieces together after pinning them. Then turn it right side out, iron, and baste. The rest of the instructions are pretty sound. I am so happy to have a new shirt!

Thank you for the instructions! This is my first blouse, and I got pretty confused with the collar, it didn’t want to come out the right way. Now it’s clear, I think. And you look really cute in it!

Very versatile pattern. Lovely simple shape and looks wonderful on you. This would work well in many different fabrics. This is similar to a wool pinstripe vest I have from long ago. Thanks for the inspiration!

I thought Liz was a nice pattern anyway, but your choice of fabric (stripes!) makes it very flattering.

This is so pretty! You look great in it (of course….you look great in everything you make!). Polychromatin’s right; there are many patterns here that I turn my nose up at, but you keep changing my mind about them! I love this shirt! Great job!

Wow! Cool fabric and really nice fit! And again you’re showing me that some patterns here are not as ugly as I thought ;)
