Hurrah second garment! Knowing that I wanted to try the Jakob next, I mostly got inspiration from this button-up this guy was wearing in the front row of a NY Fashion Week show and from the nude/purple/bruised-skin palette of Lanvin S/S ‘09. Again, I really slimmed it down so I wouldn’t be swimming in the fabric and I also narrowed the collar. Though I think next time, I’ll also lessen the length of the collar point. The white buttons are my favorite!

really turned out super – congrats on changing both the fit AND the collar! It made the proportions better for your frame size. I also think you might like the points being smaller, but this is a good look for you too.

How did you slim this up? did you do darts front and back or cut panels from the front back pieces, or just take in the sides?
Most mens’ shirts patterns available are so horribly unfashionably boxy
