I still cannot believe that this skirt turned out! I’m totally excited! The only thing I had some trouble with was perfecting the ruffles so that they were symmetrical on both sides. Another hang up was that when I put the zipper in the tippy top of the zipper tab was visible when the skirt was being worn. So I added in some metal snaps (the kind on baby onsies) and fixed it! I also added an additional hem to the bottom because i forgot to lengthen it before I cut the fabric.
Lots of fun, great pattern, took me about 2 weeks to make, loved it!!

Lovely… and very stylish. The additional hem balances the detail at the top. Im glad you forgot to lengthen it!
