Description

This stylish pullover has those extra long sleeves that I love, a v-neck in front and back, side slits, and a long hem that is longer in back than in front for a bit of style. I used a size 40 and no alterations were needed. Everything was a perfect fit.

In my pictures I am having a bit of static cling and the wind isn’t helping either. I hope you can see how happy I am with my new pullover. It is roomy & comfortable, and I can toss it on over other tops.
I am actually going to wear this. I plan to make more of them in my wardrobe colors.

Working with a light knit takes extra care. I used silk pins, basted on the regular sewing machine with a stretch needle, and then serged my seams. The edge finishes called for hand sewing.

I would recommend this to experienced beginners to intermediates.

Material Notes

The pattern called for a “fine knit”. Great! I already had a very light weight purple and black burnout-type knit. Only 2 yards needed.
