One of my favorite skirts – it has a very simple form, slightly A-shaped. The lace required pattern without darts, since it had wide ornament holes, so I chose this patern. The waist yoke is made out of purple flannel I had in my fabric repository (I was quite surprised the colors of the fabrics matched that well!). The lining is made out of simple lining cloth, but satin would be a better fabric choice, since the cloth I used rumples a lot when I sit. Maybe I’ll replace it with satin. The invisible zipper is placed on the left side. I have to add – this skirt is a real eye catcher wherever I go :).
