Pattern Description – Mid-calf dress has close-fitting, self-lined bodice with side front and back seams, flared skirt with side pockets, back pleats and zipper.Bodice back extends into tie ends.
Since I used a heavier cotton, I decided not to line the bodice and use facings. I eliminated the front seams on skirt and bodice and then I took out 1 inch form the bodice length and 6 inches from the skirt.
The zipper is handpicked, I did this for the first time and it looks great.
I didn’t get to make a matching belt, but I intend to.
I used a medium weight cotton with a bit of stretch.
