Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This is the first time I’ve sewn with fleece. Its been on going for the last 4 years. First I cut out the pieces but i didn’t know how to mark it so I just left it. Couple years later I put together most of the jacket except the hand sewn finishes. Couple years later I pulled it out and hand sewed and hemmed it, which was 2 weeks ago.
I have to say I love this jacket. I think its so cute! I’ve worn it 10 times. especially since the weather is getting colder.
The pattern I used was McCall’s 5714
Material Notes
I used a purple fleece. its not polar fleece.
There is also some crispy sew-in interfacing, which makes it kind of crackle when you move. It’s a faint sound so I don’t mind it.

I’m so bad at finishing projects. I get so distracted with new ideas. I have a pair of plaid pants that I started about 6 years ago and never finished. They probably don’t fit anymore!
