Purple bateau square shirt with Ida-Maria high-waisted skirt
Ever since joining Burdastyle i have been itching to sew and post a project
but I have been quite shy.
But after seeing Loyl8 & Ikey-seki’s projects I just had to work up the courage!!
As purple is my favourite colour I wanted to make an outfit great for a night out but easy to wear as separates – I was very happy with the results :)
Material Notes
I have no idea about the fabrics I used however I did get the skirt print from a local African textiles shop. I top is a bit heavy/thick so I think I would use a lighter fabric next time. will there be a next time??? - Ooooh ye-ah!!
