I made this dress for a cocktail party I went to last year, it was by far my hardest project to date and I am very proud of it! It is made from a circle skirt which flows beautfiully and a bust section, the two teardrop shapes are simply for decoration as there is a fitted bust panel underneath, I also made a net underskirt which isnt shown and it made the skirt swing so nicely! I also made the corsage with peices of ribbon, net and satin then finished it with a jet button. I made the mannequin myself with a t-shirt and a lot of duct tape, it is stuffed with wool and very pliable so dont mind if it looks a little wonky! :)
Purple satin, silver ribbon, net for underskirt.
