This was from a Tracy Reese for Vogue pattern. I made the dress without the ruffles and am debating wether or not to add them, leave the dress the way it is or add a different style of ruffles than the ones the pattern calls for.

You don’t need the ruffles, the dress is lovely as it is.

I agree that you should leave it as is. The dress fits so nicely on you that I would definitely make it again but maybe this time with ruffles.

Thank you! I think that is what I’ll do, make it again, maybe in a solid color and add the ruffles but leave this one alone. Good idea.

I would opt for leaving the dress as it is! It’s beautiful – the print is gorgeous!

This is lovely. Add the ruffles to the next dress you make from this pattern.

I love the material, it’s so pretty! Personally, I think the dress is lovely on it’s own without any ruffles. The vibrant color scheme makes for a beautiful focal point in and of itself:)
