Second time through with the bra making! This is the prettiest bra I have ever owned. And it almost fits! and it has lace! I’m so excited!

The fabric is once again from the lovely ladies at Bra-Makers Supply , and this time around it’s a small bra kit in purple. They don’t have purple kits on the website, only in the store. It came with a black findings kit. The lace, however, is from my own stash. It’s from a length of 8" wide stretch lace I had in my stash, which I appliqued onto the upper cups. This was also my first time appliqueing. I used a double needle to do the top stitching on the cups.

I have another purple bra cut out, but I’m going to make a slight change to either the cup or the band, I haven’t decided which yet. When I’m actually wearing either this or the original Plain Bra the seam that joins the cup and the band at the armpit sort of sticks out. So that’s definitely a fit problem and not a construction problem. I’ll fix it on the next go ’round.
